Experimental Investigation on Fracture Parameters of Interface Crack for Rock/Concrete and Rock/Mortar
Fracture energy and fracture toughness are the most important fracture parameters for linear and nonlinear fracture analysis. Fracture energy and fracture toughness of the interface crack, combined by either rock and concrete or rock and mortar, were obtained by three-point bending tests. The results indicated the value of fracture energy of specimen for concrete is 1.844 times larger than one for rock/concrete and 2.16 times for rock/mortar and the value of fracture toughness of specimen for concrete is 1.77 times as much as one for rock/concrete and 1.69 times for rock/mortar.
