Application of Water-Soluble Polymers in Soil Quality Improvement
Water-soluble polymer with its hydrophilic, adhesion, film formation and etc. excellent performance made good effects on the soil and water conservation, soil moisture, loose soil and other soil improvement. A series tests were conducted on the expansibility, erosion resistance of the expansive soils modified by the STW Water-soluble polymer. The modified mechanism was analyzed using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The result showed that the STW Water-soluble polymer improved the expansibility, erosion resistance greatly.
