Sediment Control Methods: D. Reservoirs
The general subject of deposition of sediment in reservoirs and the problems created by these deposits and their solutions are outlined. The subjects discussed include sources of sediment, estimation of quantities delivered to reservoirs, location of deposits, reservoir problems, and control of reservoir sedimentation. This paper, when finally modified in light of discussions, will become Section D of Chapter V of the proposed manual on Sedimentation Engineering.
