Stream Pollution in the Ohio River Basin: A Symposium: Foreword
Since 1933 the construction of sanitary engineering projects has been financed largely by Federal funds allocated as loans or grants-in-aid. Federal funding agencies act in part as co-ordinating agencies also , in reviewing studies and plans for various types of projects proposed for individual population centers and local areas.
