The Importance of Dynamic Loads in Structural Design
The purpose of this paper is to present a general review of the importance of dynamic loads in structural design rather than a long treatise on the mathematical intricacies of dynamic analyses. Accordingly, the paper is divided into three parts: (1) Dynamic loadings, (2) dynamic analyses, and (3) the effects of atomic bomb blasts on structural design.
