Use of High Performance Concrete for Transportation Infrastructures
This paper review the properties and applications of high performance concrete (HPC). HPC is usually designed based on the requirements for specific applications and environments, which decides the constitute materials and mixture proportions for the HPC to be produced. The strength of concrete is probably the most important overall measure of quality, but other properties such as shrinkage, creep, permeability, frost resistance and durability may also be critical. HPC has been used for all kinds of transportation infrastructures in the world.
