Run-Off — Rational Run-Off Formulas
A discussion of methods of estimating storm-water run-off, statements, conclusions and comparisons, weighing of errors, advantages and disadvantages, and suggestions for improvement, form an important part of this paper. Logically, the paper is divided into two parts. Part I contains an analysis of the factors involved; it presents conclusions, and proposes changes in the present methods of estimating run-off. Part II contains a series of derivations, introducing and advocating new factors and formulas. This part of the paper also contains practical examples and suggestions for the guidance of the designer.
