The Construction of Gravity Sand Filters at Nyack, N. Y.
The Village of Nyack is situated on the west bank of the Hudson River, about 28 miles from New York City. The Villages of South Nyack and Upper Nyack adjoin it on either side, and are supplied by it with water. The combined population is about 8 000.
