Geophysical-Geological Mapping of Infrastructure in New York Harbor
Careful application of geology and geophysics to challenges posed by underwater infrastructure during construction projects allows for reduced uncertainty, improved project management, better planning, and reduced costs. This paper presents four case studies from New York Harbor, where geophysical and geological mapping resolved harbor construction and improvement issues.
