Physical Model Test for 2D Stability of Breakwater in Malaysia Kuantan
A two-dimensional physical model was used to study the stability and overtopping flux of breakwater in Malaysia Kuantan. Model tests were carried out in a wave flume at TIWTE. For original design, four typical breakwater trunk sections were chosen in this study and the stone (or tetrapod unit) stability and overtopping flux under different wave conditions were given, respectively. The conclusions should be used to achieve optimization of the design.
