Analysis of Time-Lapse Construction Films
This paper discussed various methods of converting filmed construction operations from data in the form of motion pictures into useful management statistics and charts. The time-lapse filming technique as a means of collecting data is explained. Case studies are presented to demonstrate the various ways time-lapse films taken of construction operations can be converted into man and machine charts, crew balance charts, work flow charts and effectiveness ratings.
