Analyst F: Site Characterization from Active and Passive Surface Wave Measurements Associated with the UTexas1 Surface Wave Dataset
This paper presents dispersion estimates and inverted shear-wave profiles from the analysis of active and passive (1D and 2D acquisition layouts) surface wave data acquired in Christchurch, New Zealand. Dispersion and auto-correlation curves are estimated by using FK and SPAC techniques, while ellipticity of Rayleigh waves is retrieved by using the RAYDEC algorithm. An ensemble of shear-wave velocity profiles explaining equally well dispersion data is then inverted by using the Conditional Neighborhood Algorithm.
