Real-Time Health Monitoring System for Power Tunnel
This work investigated all of the Shanghai power tunnels including the existing and under construction, and found that the joints between the linings of tunnel are the common positions of leakage. So we present that the joint deformation of tunnel structure should be the key parameter when monitoring the operation safety of Shanghai power tunnel. Monitoring equipments were installed in six typical tunnels to real-time monitor structural health of power tunnels. Data automatic acquisition and management have been achieved by developing monitoring software. The developed health-monitoring system can also realize three-dimensional visualization of inner structure of tunnel. Users can realize virtual walking inside tunnel and observe visually the information of monitoring instruments and query monitoring data in three-dimensional state. So we can realize real-time dynamic structural analysis and safety assessment for power tunnel, early warning for the normal operation and management of power tunnel.
