Evolutionary Game between Developers and Governments in the Development of BIM Technology
Based on the evolutionary game theory, this paper analyzes the evolution process of the government and developers in BIM technology development decision-making, in order to verify the effectiveness of BIM technology incentive policies under the interaction of government and developers through a more accurate mathematical model and numerical simulations, and provide some reference for the incentive mechanism. The results show that the strategy choice of the two game subjects mainly depends on the technology transformation cost and benefit of the developer. The government’s efforts to increase incentives and penalties are less effective for developers. However, by providing technical support and improving normative standards, creating development cost reduction, and income growth prospects, developers would be better encouraged to actively introduce BIM technology. It is necessary to promote the informatization process of the construction industry through the improvement of market mechanisms.
