Pros and Cons of Construction Management
With an increase in the size and complexity of construction projects a need has arisen for a more professional approach to the overall management of these projects. Construction management has grown out of this need. A series of case histories is presented, both successful and unsuccessful, together with explanations of why particular cases were either successful or unsuccessful. In the analysis and conclusion a series of ground rules are presented describing the owner's and the construction manager's responsibility in the process.
