The Walworth Sewer, Cleveland, Ohio
The Walworth sewer, which, up to the present time, is the largest sewer in the City of Cleveland, has only recently been completed, and, as yet,, all the final settlements have not been made. In round figures, the cost has been about $850 000. A considerable portion of the designing, mainly the determination of sizes, grades, section of sewer required, kind of materials to be used, etc., was done in 1896. The actual construction was in progress from the spring of 1897 to the summer of 1903.
