Study on Interregional Transportation Infrastructure Integration Planning in China
Due to the lack of integrated planning of interregional transportation infrastructure, the development of interregional transportation system is restricted in China. Based on qualitative analysis and quantitative forecast, this paper analyzed general methods regarding demand forecast, organization planning and infrastructure integration of Interregional Transportation Infrastructure Integration Planning in China. Also this study applied the methods into practice in Suzhou City. The evaluation showed the methods were effective and applicable. This research provides theoretical and practical support for interregional transportation infrastructure integration planning.
