A Nonlinear Viscoelastic Constitutive Model of Aged Asphalt Mixture
Asphalt mixture is a complicated thermal rheological material, and its deformation is related to some factors, such as the stress state, stress history, temperature, and loading rate. So it has a very complicated nonlinear viscoelastic property. To find a nonlinear viscoelastic constitutive model of aged asphalt mixture, stress relaxation tests were carried out on asphalt mixtures (AC-13C), having five different aged degrees, under different temperatures and strain levels. Then, a fractional exponential model was founded to characterize the stress relaxation performance of aged asphalt mixture, and the regression relationships of the values of the model parameters, varying with the aging degree, strain and temperature, were established applying the non-linear regression method according to the test results. Finally, a nonlinear viscoelastic model of aged asphalt mixture was established.
