Study of Bending Stiffness Calculation on Damage Concrete Beam Strengthened by CFRP
Carbon fiber is often pasted in the bridge for reinforcement. Based on experiment study and existing results, the comparative analysis of the bending stiffness of damage concrete beam strengthened by carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) were presented quantitatively. In this paper, three methods of Bending Stiffness calculation are presented. The results show that there are quite differences in the three theory analysis of the stiffness of reinforced concrete beam in this paper, and the method of effective inertia moment can be used to guide the design of the actual reinforcement; however, there are mistakes in the calculational accuracy.
