Analysis of Multi-Span, Gable Frames
A simple, analytical method for the analysis of a multi-span, gable frame structure having vertical columns pinned at the bases is presented. The principle used is that of consistent deformations of the rig id joints of the structure. Limitations on the physical and geo metric properties of the members of the structure are kept within a practical minimum. Tables presented herein will allow for the solution of structures subjected to most loading conditions encountered in practice.
