Sewage Reclamation by Spreading Basin Infiltration
To study the feasibility of recharging the ground water with effluent from sewage treatrnent plants, experimental spreading basins were established in Los Angeles County, California. Two locations were used to evaluate the effect of climate, soil characteristics, type of spreading fluid on the suitability of the percolated product, and rates of infiltration.
