    Computing is much more than a skill to be learned. It is an engineering science as well as a basic science. Many fundamentals of this basic science are relevant to engineers. This paper describes a course that describes important aspects to engineering undergraduates. Through more than ten years of experience, the course has been incrementally improved and materials are available for free by downloading from an ASCE website.
