Charts for Design of Reinforced Concrete Columns
Curves are presented which enable the designer to immediately determine the necessary size and reinforcing for a given thrust and moment. The curves are based on the ultimate strength of the column section and cover six column sizes for each of three concrete strengths. The curves are directly applicable to square tied columns with eccentricities about one axis.
