Three-Dimensional Seismic Refraction to Image Dam Structure
A new principle of seismic refraction imaging was introduced to obtain successfully accurate high definition ground model. Through secondary development, ground imaging system was established and applied in dam cross-section and culvert through the dam imaging. The status of the dam structure and the location and severity of hidden danger of dam structure were showed identify quickly and efficiently. Results from two field applications are presented showing the benefit of assessing seismic refraction data using the three-dimensional ground imaging system.
