Study on Mechanical Behaviors of Underground Pipelines Due to Excavation of Subway Tunnels
It is necessary to analyze the influence of the subway construction on the nearby underground pipelines, because the excavation of the subway tunnels will often cause large deformation and thus brings about safety problems. This paper focuses on the deformation variety of the underground pipelines during the construction. Influences from five key factors which included the material and the buried depth of the underground pipelines, the horizontal distance and the cross angle between the pipeline and the subway tunnel, and the parameters of the insulating layer were discussed, respectively. Numerical simulation results show that the pipeline can suppress settlement of the soil layer to a certain extent, and the insulating layer contributes to damage prevention of the underground pipelines.
