Stability Aspects of Flow in Open Channels
Graphical solutions for uniform open channel flow problems are developed using Manning formula; charts derived for design of rectangular, trapezoidal, and circular channels; analytical procedure for defining several types of open channel flow in which criteria for tranquil, rapid, and pulsating flows are combined in single chart.
