INTEGRASI FUNGSI PADA BANGUNAN PASAR TRADISIONAL DAN LINGKUNGANNYA DI KOTA MALANG
The integration of functions in traditional market buildings is important in creating efficient functional relations. The author wants to see the criteria for market buildings that are functionally integrated with existing buildings around the market. The case study in this paper uses two subjects, namely Oro-oro Dowo Market and Malang City Big Market. The data collection in this paper uses descriptive comparative and survey methods, where this paper focuses on comparing the criteria for the integration of functions in the two markets. The analysis of the subjects in this paper shows that a market building that integrates efficiently with the surrounding buildings is a market building which has an integrated function in the form of small shop/retail, a dividing wall, a market building which has a special parking area and a barrier in the form of open space. With the existence of these matters, activities which conducted at the market area would not interfere the surrounding residential areas.
