PENERAPAN PERATURAN DAERAH KOTA PADANG NOMOR 21 TAHUN 2012 TENTANG PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH RUMAH TANGGA DALAM MELESTARIKAN LINGKUNGAN HIDUP DI KECAMATAN KOTO TANGAH
In the provisions of Article 3 Regional Regulation No. 21 Year 2012 on Household Waste Management stated that waste management aims to maintain the preservation of the environment and public health as well as to utilize waste as a resource, and garbage that most are household waste is waste generated from everyday life.Formulation of the problem: 1) How is the role of communities in the management of household waste in the district of Koto Tangah? 2) What are the obstacles encountered in the handling of household waste in the district of Koto Tangah?. The method used in this study sociological law. Source data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection technique were interview, observation and document study. Data were analyzed qualitatively. Conclusions from the study were 1) the role of communities in the management of household waste that disposing of waste in place and increasing their knowledge and awareness in the household waste management. 2) The constraints faced by the government of Padang in the handling of household waste in the district of Koto Tangah that is: a. personnel or employees who perform less waste management, b. facilities and infrastructure that are used in the management of household waste inadequate, c. place containers or bins are insufficient for household waste management.Keywords: Implementation, Management, Household Waste.
