PERHITUNGAN STABILITAS DINDING PENAHAN TANAH TIPE GRAVITASI PADA GEDUNG WISMA KEBUN RAYA KENDARI
Retaining wall is a construction structure built to hold soil that has a slope/slope where the stability of the soil cannot be guaranteed by the soil itself. Retaining wall structures are used to withstand lateral soil pressures caused by backfill or unstable original soils due to topographic conditions. In planning the construction of retaining walls, it is necessary to pay attention to the safety factor of the stability of the retaining wall and also the bearing capacity of the wall, to prevent adverse things. The purpose of this study was to determine how the stability of the overturning, shearing, and soil bearing capacity of the gravity wall of the Wisma Kebun Raya Kendari Building and to estimate the cost of carrying out the work of the gravity retaining wall. The results of the calculation of the stability of the gravity retaining wall of the Wisma Kebun Botanical Gardens Kendari found that the shear SF 9.95 > 1.5 (Safe), SF rolling 29.58 > 1.5 (Safe), SF bearing capacity 2.40 < 3 (Not safe). So that the stability of the retaining wall is safe against the carrying capacity, alternative handling is carried out on the retaining wall. After treatment alternatives showed that SF sliding 10.73> 1.5 (Safe), SF bolsters 31.43> 1.5 (Safe), and SF carrying capacity of 3, 05>3 (Safe). Dinding penahan tanah adalah suatu struktur konstruksi yang dibangun untuk menahan tanah yang mempunyai kemiringan/lereng dimana kemantapan tanah tersebut tidak dapat dijamin oleh tanah itu sendiri. Bangunan dinding penahan tanah digunakan untuk menahan tekanan tanah lateral yang ditimbulkan oleh tanah urugan atau tanah asli yang labil akibat kondisi topografinya. Dalam perencanaan pembangunan dinding penahan tanah perlu diperhatikan faktor keamanan dari kestabilan dari dinding penahan tanah dan juga daya dukung dari dinding tersebut, untuk mencegah hal-hal yang merugikan.
