A Review on Renewable Energy Development and its Current Status
Energy crisis and rising global temperatures have made sustainable development more crucial. Long-term sustainability is aided by renewable energy's minimal carbon emissions. Renewable energy, sustainable energy resources, and low carbon emissions in the power system all contribute to sustainable development, but they must be integrated to be effective. Intermittency, system usage efficiency, and other issues arise with incorporating renewables into the grid. The rest of this paper is on sustainable development and shifting from fossil fuels to renewables. Renewable energy adds solar, wind, and PV to the grid. Net metering offers benefits. It saves grid energy. Renewable energy boosts the grid's capacity and energy efficiency. At the end of the study, the interconnections between energy, the environment, and climate change are discussed, as well as the impact of renewable energy.
