FEASIBILITY STUDY PLTMH ( APLIKASI PLTMH PUNCO KAYU PELANGAI KECAMATAN RANAH PESISIR KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN )
At present, the available potential air resources cannot be utilized optimally by the local community. Therefore, the government conducts electricity development and development activities in the feasibility studio and detailed engineering design of micro hydro power plants (MHP). Feasibility study on the construction of an approved MHP, an area that has air potential, the willingness of the community to support the construction of a MHP where this community has not been reached by the PLN electricity network. From this feasibility study, in the village of Punco Kayu, there is water potential for PLTMH with a design air discharge of 200 liters / second with a water level (head) of 25 m and generating a power capacity of 25 kW which can be channeled to the community and cause a loss of 10% , so the power capacity that can be used by the community is 23.87 kW with 60 units of houses. The generator used is a 3 phase synchronous generator with a power output of 25 kW and the turbine used is a cross flow type.Keywords: Micro hydro power plant (PLTMH)
