A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The present deliverable is the core management handbook for the execution AGINFRAPLUS project. In general, the project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements. This work is substantially supported by the use of a Virtual Research Environment for project-related purposes, as well as by using Google services for creating and sharing documents, providing relevant templates and distributing guidelines and central project information. According to the Project Management Institute1, project management revolves around five Process Groups, namely: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling Closing Some of the processes that are included in the above process groups on which the specific deliverable will focus and analyze are the following: Managing the consortium towards meeting project requirements and creating project deliverables, Communicating within the consortium as well as with the European Commission, Addressing the various needs of the stakeholders in planning and executing the project, Submitting reports and deliverables Legal and financial tasks in the AGINFRA PLUS project such as: Management of contractual issues and timely distribution of corresponding documents and relevant information to partners (e.g. regarding grant agreement and consortium agreement), Communication between consortium partners and the EU on project- and funding-related questions, Management of budget and distribution of payments to partner
