ARCHITETTURA CONTEMPORANEA: ELEMENTO DI DIALOGO TRA EREDITÀ E IBRIDAZIONI [Contemporary architecture: Dialogic element between heritage and hybridisations]
The dialectical relation between tradition and contemporaneity synthesizes the basic elements of the contemporary urban phenomenon, together with the debate which fuels the discussion and the theoretical and operative orientations deriving from it. The current structure of the city and the morphology of its elements are an expression of recognizable moments of the architectural, technological and cultural thinking about the building action: the historical contexts and the preexistences represent the reality and the operational behavior of the actors of its modification through time. The relation between the expressions of contemporaneity and the traces of the past involves directly the debate about the range of planning and building practice, its autonomy and purpose, its interaction with the broad and complex field of architecture.
