The thesis presents analytical calculations of relative stiffness and the relative strength calculations of wooden structures, strengthen the three types of reinforcement (carbon plastic, fiberglass, steel) in tension (compression) and bending cases. This thesis consists of introduction, three main chapters, conclusions and references. The introduction discusses the research problem, presents research object, goals and objectives. The first chapter provides general information about the layered structures, their field of application, the latest research strength and stiffness performed analyses, reinforcement types. The second chapter presents the research methodology in two-layer structure. The third section graphically presents the analytical results of the calculations. At the end of the conclusions are drawn.
