SPACE INDUSTRY IN ARAB-ISLAMIC ARCHITECTURE
Architecture is the content of human activities, and one of the most important products throughout history, with all that its structure includes of formal elements, the relationships that connect them, the organizational rules that govern them in spatial organization, their movement patterns, and the formal formations that embody the lives of their inhabitants, taking into account engineering rules and investing in the elements of the site with the aim of creating an architectural structure that harmonizes with the surrounding elements of the natural environment to achieve the basic requirements. Architecture is a spatial-temporal extension that accommodates the integrated human dimension and represents a degree of relative stability for its material components, as they are subject to values, customs, and beliefs. The development of lifestyles and modern technologies has led to the movement of the designer's mind towards the development of new concepts and technological methods that are compatible with the future vision. Modern architecture has emerged, which has neglected the thought and heritage of Islamic architecture, which is considered a rich source of inspiration and which includes multiple terms from the Islamic content of architecture and its elements. The research presents a study of the Islamic interior space industry through the employment of the Islamic architectural heritage in architecture and interior design with the aim of clarifying its positive aspects that are consistent with our meaning in contemporary social, environmental and economic conditions and clarifying the mechanisms through which we can reach a space that reflects the identity and privacy of Arab-Islamic architecture.
