„Klaipedos gelžbetonio“ gamyklos ir jos teritorijos renovacija pritaikant pastatus ekspozicijų centrui ; Teritorial renovation of "Klaipėdos gelžbetonis" faktory site into exposition center
Thesis proposes solution of territorial conversion of “Klaipėdos gelžbetonis” factory, which stands on the bank of Danė River. Carried out historical and urban territorial analysis suggested that territory should be reserved for public-commercial use. Visual evaluation of constructional elements of present buildings resulted to necessity of clearing the site. Only few valuable elements were integrated into structure of new buildings, maintaining signs of former function. Detailed representational pavilion of exposition center acts as main communicational axis of whole ensemble. There are proposed premises for general-purpose (lobbies, temporary expositions), services (restaurants, technical stuff, locker-rooms, etc.) and special-purpose (conferences, presentations, etc.), which complement permanent expositional spaces. Structure of thesis: introduction, analytical section, experimental section, references and extras.
