STANDARDIZATION METHOD FOR ACHIEVING LEAN PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Lean Project Management is a comprehensive adaptation of other lean concepts such as Lean Building, Lean Manufacturing, and Lean Thinking in the context of project management. The implementation of many of these industrial projects creates the idea of lean project management in companies and high-growth industries. This article proposes a standardization method for achieving lean project management in infrastructure and other large scale industrial projects. Standardization refers to all activities that make two projects as identical and unified as possible for each other. Although a standard project may have a slight decrease in efficiency compared to a custom project; but the great advantages of a standard design, such as cost savings, time savings and improved quality, justify the standardization methodology.
