Mosque As a Place To Build Moderate Community
ABSTRACT This article aims to assess the policies and activities that played a masjid in community building moderate in West Kalimantan. The method used are qualitative approach with sociological and management of da'wah. Two such approaches are able to understand the actions of the administrator in the management of the mosque. The results of this study show that: first, Since the establishment, The Masjid has been declared purpose of the masjid to form a society that noble. Second, set the vision, mission, goals and strategic objectives of the masjid which is mandatory for the administrator in setting masjid policy. Third, the Development of the Department or area of arable Masjid, and the Fourth, establish a special policy associated with the leader of prayer, the implementation of prayer in congregation and the concept of sermons and lectures that will be delivered by Preacher both in the mosque, in Radio and Television Da’wah Masjid well written formally in the form of a Decree or not. With the steps of the management and policies of the above, then first, policies that set the caretaker of the masjid has the direction of a clear purpose in accordance with the strategic plan of the masjid which leads to the formation of a noble character for the community. Second, the messag of da'wah that is presented in the sermons and lectures in the masjid had been previously selected and avoid provocative message that will cause a split in the community
