Reprint of original photograph showing the Centennial Anniversary of the Nathan Garnsey House in 1891. The house was occupied in 1891 by Henry C. DeLong, Millie Smalley DeLong and their family. Standing to the right of the large tree beneath the welcome sign is Mille Smalley DeLong, granddaughter of John Smalley and Hannah Barnes-niece of Nathan Garnsey Jr. She is next to her husband, Henry. To his right is an unknown man, then LeGrand Rexford, and Cyrus W. Rexford. Emmor J. Caldwell is seated in the second row, sixth from left, and in front of him to the left is Garnsey Caldwell, who is seated in the first row fourth from left. The other people pictured are friends and relatives, many are descendants of Nathan Garnsey who built the house in 1791. Route 146 appears in the foreground as a one-lane dirt road.
