The dissertation consists of introduction, three chapters, general conclu-sions, a list of references, a list of the author‘s papers and annexes, related to the topic of the dissertation. The introduction discusses the research problem, relevance and the ob-ject, describes the paper aim and task, research methodology and the scien-tific novelty, and presents practical significance of the results and the de-fended statements. The introduction end in presenting overview of the au-thor‘s publications and conference presentations on the topic of this re-search and defining the structure of the dissertation. Chapter 1 presents cultural heritage buildings’ conception and analyses of these buildings preservation and restoration, a review of literature on cul-tural heritage buildings, including the period between 1993 and 2018. The chapter ends with conclusions and the tasks for the dissertation. Chapter 2 introduces the system of the indicators for the evaluation of the cultural heritage buildings’ preservation and restoration. This system of the indicators is based on legislation of UNESCO and Lithuanian heritage preservation, and scientific research. The chapter also determines the multi-ple criteria methods, seeking to apply it for a multiple criteria model for re-construction decisions selection of cultural heritage buildings. Chapter 3 presents the ranking of cultural heritage structures for reno-vation projects, applying AHP and EDAS methods. The Expert evaluation, AHP and PROMETHEE methods are used for contractor selection for reno-vation of cultural heritage buildings. Then the AHP, SWARA and WASPAS-SVNS methods are applied for contractor selection for sgraffito decoration of cultural heritage buildings. The AHP method was used for the indicators evaluation and significance of setting indicators for cultural herit-age buildings’ adaptive reuse. The key research findings were presented in eight research papers and discussed at four scientific conferences.
