This article reveals the topic of preserving the architectural heritage of “European Samarkand”. The essence of the problem comes down to the fact that today all resources and attention for preservation are more directed to the monumental buildings of the Timurid era, which of course forms the main point in the development of tourism, which is currently the main source of income. Based on this, the question arises of the need to create new tourist routes in Samarkand.
