Apsauginių betono dangų efektyvumo tyrimas / ; Performance evaluation of concrete protective coatings.
Hydraulic engineering structures are constantly exposed to aggressive environmental factors influencing concrete structures faster aging, wear and damage from occurring. In order to avoid this is subject to various protective measures which improve the characteristics of the concrete, reinforcing and prolonging its life. One of the most widely used in the construction of the protection is the protective concrete cover. The market found in protective concrete coating is a mixed bag - it varies in composition and the active substances, which, in turn, different bucks to the same environmental factors experienced by concrete. In order to evaluate these differences was performed by the laboratory abrasion, impact resistance, water absorption and grip strength tests with five different protective coatings. Thermoplastic polymer coatings - S, P1, P2, epoxy polymer, termoreakcine coating E and the mineral surface coating M. The results showed that different protective coatings equally opposed to individual concrete operating factors. It was found that all the indoor ranges of protective coating adhesion strength of the concrete exceeds the threshold caused rapair materials. Also, all tests have shown the best results E coated samples worst M. This resulted in the initial state of the sky texture and hardening characteristics of the material. The remaining S, P1, P2 coating results were quite good, and even in some cases (water absorption) exceeded E coating results. It was also made of concrete protective coating cost analysis to assess the price and performance ratio of the sky, and the selection of optimal protective coating. In summarizing the results showed that all the protective coatings used in the studies are suitable for the protection of concrete structures, taking into account specific factors affecting them and overriding requirements. However, the optimal protective coating for the concrete protection and economic strength is the thermoplastic polymer coating P2.
