Il contributo spiega le modalità dell'insegnamento del restauro nella facoltà di Architettura di Palermo, illustrandone i contenuti anche con la preparazione di tesi di laurea ; The Architecture Faculty of the University of Palermo, founded in 19 5, is the oldest in Sicily; a Faculty of Architecture based in Siracusa was added in the 1990s and is dependant on the University of Catania; while in 2005 teaching began at the University Kore based in Enna, which o ers a three-year degree course in the Science of Architecture as part of its department of Fine Arts Conservation. The faculty of architecture of the University of Palermo provides a ve-year architecture course (cl 4/S) as well as another, initiated in 2000, at the extended department of Agrigento; furthermore the department at Palermo o ers a three-year course dedicated to Architectural Restoration, Renewal and Reutilization (cl 4 ) as well as a specialization in Architectural Conservation and Restoration (cl 10)1.
