Keanekaragaman Jenis Burung Diurnal Di Ruang Terbuka Hijau Kota Mempawah
AbstractGreen Open Space (RTH) in small urban areas has important ecological value that can be utilized by birds. Highways surrounded by green plants are often referred to as green lanes, where birds can take advantage of these plants. This research aims to obtain data regarding the existing bird species and obtain data regarding the bird species diversity index in the Mempawah City RTH. The benefit of research is to increase knowledge for the community and city government regarding the types of birds in Mempawah City. The research uses the point count method, determining the first observation point is carried out purposively, then the same thing is done to determine the second observation point and so on. The results of this research show that there are 19 types of birds found in the Mempawah Park RTH consisting of 13 families with a diversity index (H') of 2.26, a dominance index (C) of 0.17, and an evenness index (E) of 0.76. Mempawah Bestari Park has 14 types of open space consisting of 11 families with a diversity index (H') value of 1.86, dominance index (C) 0.24, and evenness index (E) 0.70. Mempawah Terminal Park has 9 types of open space consisting of 7 families with a diversity index (H') value of 1.44, dominance index (C) 0.37, and evenness index (E) 0.65. Taman Benteng's green open space consists of 10 types consisting of 8 families with a diversity index (H') value of 1.67, dominance index (C) 0.24, and evenness index (E) 0.72.
