Neįstiklinto orinio saulės kolektoriaus charakteristikų tyrimas realiomis sąlygomis ; Performance Investigation of Unglazed Solar Air Collector Under Real Conditions
The thesis presents thermal and aerodynamic characteristic’s investigations and its results of VGTU Environmental engineering faculty southern facade integrated unglazed transpired solar collector. Almost all previous experimental researches of analyzed type collector were performed in North America continent, meanwhile in Europe such researches are much less. Currently there are performed 2 experimental researches in Lithuania but the authors argue that by using measuring equipment there weren‘t possible to properly determine the efficiency of collector. Because of these reasons, based on recommendations and observations of earlier investigations, it was made the decision to improve the measuring stand and continue the investigations. In this work a special emphasis was given for results accuracy, there were calculated efficiency and thermal rise values on different collector operation modes. During research it was observed the importance of collector influence analysis for ventilation system, therefore the big part of presented thesis is committed to pressure loss investigations. Based on experimental research results it was confirmed that the parameters of collector are very close to manufacturer declared characteristics while wind speed is low. Meanwhile doing the assessment of collector aerodynamic properties it was observed, that on particular air flow and solar radiation values, the operation of collector may be inefficient. At the end of the research there are presented parameters of collector performance, quantities of generated and consumed energy on different operation conditions. The effective operation conditions of collector committed during this research could be useful by designing or by creating algorithm for such device.
