EXPERIMENTAL & NUMERICAL INVESTIGATIONS TO STUDY EFFECTS OF AIR CHANGE RATES ONVENTILATION EFFICIENCY OF UFAD VENTILATED ROOM
Because of variable patterns of demand among users of ventilation and availability of various systems of distribution of air, HVAC engineers, worldwide, are facing challenges related to operationand design of such systems. Further, because of the concerns related to quality of indoor air and itsimpact on the health & productivity of workers, innovative ventilation approaches whichprovide cleaner indoor environment, are becoming popular indoors. Performance of various ventilation systems viz., Displacement, Mixing & Under-Floor Air Distribution systemsis influenced byvariables asACH, particle sizes & location of particle sources.In this study, performance of Under-Floor Air Distribution systemis evaluated for different values of ACH using efficiency of ventilationsystems in occupied & breathing zones as a performance indicator.
