Developing cost decision model using building information method with multi-criteria decision-making method
Cost plans are typically prepared by a cost consultant to provide an estimation cost of project. it developed in detail and accuracy as more project information becomes available. for that, in this research the Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Method has been used as a cost decision model to provide an accurate project cost estimation. The factors that contribute to inaccurate cost estimates in building projects were the "Contract Effect," "Layout Effect," "Administration Effect," "Environment Effect," and "Labor Effect". these factors have been evaluated by using Delphi methodology and importance Index (RII) as a tool to rank all the aspects in addition to the MultiCriteria Decision-Making Method. The variance in project costs is taken into consideration when determining the influence that MCDM variables on the outcomes. Finally, the building Information Modelling (BIM) system is used to compute the bill of quantities and apply the cost model in order to determine the variations in cost depending on the priorities variables. The system was examined, and the opinion of the experts about the findings were quite positive, and the performance forecast turned out to be very accurate.
