Urban Agenda of the Eixo Atlántico
Public administrations and elected representatives are entrusted to manage and lead the common good. Local authorities, the closest ones to people and their problems, equip themselves with suitable tools to serve citizens. Strategic agendas are one of these tools, which can be very useful if they get the diagnostic and the proposed measurements right, and if they get to involve all the interested agents. The urban agenda of Eixo Atlântico has to respond to this model and at the same time excel it, going a little further. Indeed, we must become aware of the fact that many things are going to change once we come back to the path of sustainable economic growth, and once we leave the current crisis behind. One of these things, and the one that affects us the most, will be the role that cities will play from that moment onwards. This document is the Urban Agenda 2030 form 34 cities in Galicia and North Portugal.
