Fließende Räume
Fokussiert wird das zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts latent vertraute Phänomen des fließenden Raumes, verbunden mit der Idee, damit auch eine Spezifik der Schnittstellen von Architektur und Kunst aufzuspüren. Relationen und Konzepte von „Fließen“ und „Räumen“ werden unter anderem in Referenz zu Konzepten von Georges Perec, Henri Lefebvre, Manuel Castells und Zygmunt Bauman skizziert, durch die der Blick für Dimensionen von gelebter und erlebter Räumlichkeit sowie für zeitgenössische raum-zeitliche Weltverständnisse geöffnet wird.Artikulationen und Interpretationen des fließenden Raumes in Architektur und Kunst seit der frühen Moderne finden schließlich besondere Beachtung. Der Beitrag ist ein Plädoyer für die geduldige Suche und Erforschung der unendlichen Virtualität von Raum, Zeit und Bewegung und ihre Vermittlung in der ästhetischen Praxis, um im Kontext einer transkulturellen und immer vielfältiger werdenden Gegenwart neue Qualitäten für Architekturschaffende und Kunstschaffende zu erschließen. ; Focus is on the latently familiar phenomenon of flowing spaces at the beginning of the 21st century. This is connected with the idea of tracing a specificity of the interfaces of architecture and art. Relations and concepts of „flowing“ and „spaces“ are outlined referencing, among others, to concepts of Georges Perec, Henri Lefebvre, Manuel Castells and Zymunt Bauman, through which the view of dimensions of lived and experienced spatiality as well as contemporary spatio-temporal understandings of the world are opened. Finally, articulations and interpretations of flowing space in architecture and the arts since early modernism receive special attention. The contribution is a plea for the patient search and exploration of the infinite virtuality of space, time and movement and its mediation in aesthetic practice, in order to open up new qualities for those working in architecture and art in the context of a transcultural and increasingly diverse present.
