Land market in the eastern frontier of the European Union – Latgale region (Latvia) ; Земельный рынок в пограничный територии востока Европейского Союза – в Регионе Латгале Латвии ; Žemės rinka Latgalos regione (Latvija)
The paper presents the results of research on the processes of the primary and secondary land market in the eastern frontier of the European Union – Latgale Region, Latvia. It has been established that the final processes of land privatization being in progress the secondary land market has undergone uneven development. It is in the territories on the eastern frontier that the majority of land deals have taken place. Due to a number of factors the price of the sold land per hectare varies considerably across the counties of the region, but on the whole it has radically increased by the year 2008. The process of recession being begun the land market in the region stagnates. While evaluating the policy and strategy of the further land market development it has been concluded that it is economically expedient to facilitate the consolidation of agricultural territories and their concentration in modern, competitive agricultural enterprises. ; В статье изложены результаты исследований процессов первичного и секундарного земeльного рынка в восточном пограничном районе Европейского Союза в регионе Латгале Латвииской Республики. Выясненo, что наряду c продолжением процессов завершение приватизации, контрастно развивaeтся также вторичный земельный рынок.
